Chris Madden
About
Christopher Madden is a trial lawyer that began fighting for his clients in 2011 as a criminal defense attorney in Pensacola, Florida. While appearing in court before most local judges and against the toughest odds, he obtained many remarkable jury trial verdicts, including multiple “not guilty” verdicts for clients charged with DUI and felony crimes.
Chris was hired in 2014 by the largest insurance civil defense firm in Florida, consistently ranked as one of the country’s best law firms by US News and Reports. Chris appeared before judges in Florida state and federal courts from Pensacola to Tallahassee, successfully defending national corporations, insurance companies, local businesses, and individuals against negligence claims. While Chris gained invaluable inside information and experience executing the best injury defense goals, strategies, and tactics, he knew he wanted to help people, not corporations or insurance companies.
Since 2016, Chris has exclusively helped people achieve justice in Northwest Florida, whether they have been injured by another, or accused. He has tried more than twenty (20) cases to verdict before local juries, and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients, including $4,000,000.00 (2021) and $3,000,000.00 (2023) in Walton County, Florida. In 2019, he moved to Walton County to open and manage an office “for the people” at “America’s Largest Injury Firm.” He is a former Board (YLD) and Eagle Member of the Florida Justice Association. Chris is a member of St. Andrews Bay American Inns of Court, an invitation-only organization that promotes the highest level of professionalism in the practice of law.
In 2022, Chris founded Madden Law, PLLC, in Santa Rosa Beach. Along with his wife, and three children that attend Walton County public schools, his family is invested and active in this incredible community. He and his family attend and are actively involved with Good News Methodist Church in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. When not in the office or courtroom, you will likely find Chris on a local sideline, whether it is watching his daughters play club soccer, or coaching his son and the South Walton Seahawks Youth football team.
